Dear Mr Hipkins,

My Name is Aliyah Newton and I am a year Seven Student at Kaiapoi North School and are a part of room 20. I am writing to inform you about an issue that has occurred in our new classroom blocks at our school.

Firstly I would like to talk about your amazing job you did for our awesome new classroom block on our senior part of the school. We adore our new buildings and are very grateful for them, but there is one key feature that is not available for us quite yet.

We all love our new spacious, creative and modern classrooms, but there is one key thing missing in our space that is highly important for us. Air Conditioning is a magerly needed piece of equipment in our new senior block as we fell that being hot and sweaty is not the best place for education.

In Addition all children in our school love playtime as we get a break from learning. Although we all play game and do our own things we would love to come back to a fresh Air Conditioned classroom instead of being sweaty, hot, tired, Dizzy. Ohh, Did I mention the sandflies and bug distraction as they crawl, fly and land straight on us, this causes lack of motivation toward learning.

Being cold and having fresh air blow straight towards us would feel amazing think about it all the poor children tired, Dripping of sweat, hot and stinky imagine if that was you. Plus this would mean happy teacher happy parent and more learning. Feeling fresh would feel terrific and would make the whole class feel like a bullet of joy. Wouldn’t you like to give us airconditioning to help us learn and achieve more in life?

Please Consider my Request it would make our lives much better and less Painful.

Yours Sincerely,

Aliyah Newton
